Yesterday was amazing and I am carrying that awesome feeling right over into today – International No Diet Day, a day to celebrate and promote body acceptance and diversity.

Which we should be doing every day, of course, but it’s nice to celebrate, you know?

Kate turned me on to the fact that we are currently in the #2 slot on Powells.com’s Bestsellers list! But you know what would be cool? If Lessons From the Fat-o-Sphere: Quit Dieting and Declare a Truce with Your Body moved to the #1 slot on that Bestsellers list on International No Diet Day.

A bunch of people have asked me about preferred vendors and I’ve been suggesting local independent bookstores. But today of all days, I am going to suggest Powell’s Books.

And I hope you all have a very excellent day.

To paraphrase Bill and Ted: Be excellent to each other and yourself.

If you’re ever in town, your second stop after Sock Dreams should definitely be Powell’s. I would live there if I could.
