Silly question, but does this mean that you and Kate will be writing a book, or that you already had a manuscript ready to go and just sold the publishing rights? I’m just curious, as this will obviously have a bearing on when the book comes out. (Also, if you can discuss it, what sort of deal did you go for? First rights? All rights?)
This is fantastic news. Not just for you, Kate and the fatosphere but for all those struggling younger people that don’t know there is an alternative to self hate.

anyhow, I’m impressed and very proud. Painted a sketch of a sage grouse the other night – all puffed up – and got to thinking here are these highly evolved birds going to great pains to puff way up and look as FAT as possible so as to impress the hell out the Chicks – and IT WORKS! I’ll send you a copy.

I'm on a mission here to let you know that fat people are not your enemy. And skinny people aren't your enemy either.
Here, the body is a political one no matter its size or shape. We are going to unpack society's standards of beauty, the oppression of the dominant social paradigm when it comes to body conformity, and talk about clothes. Maybe even makeup. Because I do love makeup.
Here, I hope, we will come to a place of acceptance. Acceptance for our own bodies and for the bodies of others.
